AI helpers for local small businesses

Helpful AI assistants for Litchfield County small businesses.

Bots of Blue builds simple AI assistants (we call them bots) that answer missed calls, book appointments, follow up on quotes and handle routine messages, so you can get back to the work only you can do. Built and looked after by Tony Sagaria, right here in Goshen, CT.

No tech skills needed. You approve everything before it goes live.

You’re busy doing the work. Customers still want an answer.

If you’re under a sink, cutting hair, or running the line at lunch, you can’t pick up the phone. Most people won’t leave a voicemail. They just call the next name on the list. Evenings go to quotes, reminders and replying to the same questions again.

What’s an AI assistant?

It’s a piece of software that can read and write messages like a helpful front-desk person. You decide what it’s allowed to say and do, and it works from your hours, prices and policies. When it doesn’t know something, it hands off to you instead of guessing.

Why now

Most local businesses aren’t using these tools yet. You don’t need to change how you run things. We start with one small job that costs you time or customers and make it run on its own.

Example bots for local businesses

These show the kinds of bots we build. They are not client results.

Missed-call text-back

Contractors · plumbers · HVAC
Before: You’re on a roof and miss a call. The caller tries someone else.
After: Within a minute they get a text from your business. It collects the job details, flags urgent words like “flooding” or “gas smell” to you right away, and never promises an arrival time.

Appointment booking

Salons · barbers · groomers
Before: The phone rings mid-haircut. Booking happens by phone tag.
After: Customers book by text or web chat from your real calendar. The bot reads the service, time and price back to them before it books, and sends a reminder.

Quote follow-up

Contractors · movers · landscapers
Before: Quote requests sit in the inbox, and follow-ups get forgotten.
After: It gathers measurements and photos and drafts the quote from your price rules for you to approve. Then it follows up politely. Nothing goes out without your OK.

Review requests & replies

Restaurants · shops · any service
Before: Happy customers never leave a review, and reviews go unanswered.
After: Customers get a short thank-you with your review link. Reply drafts wait for your approval, and it never offers refunds in public.

Inbox triage

Any owner
Before: 80 emails, 3 of them important.
After: Each morning you get a short summary: real customer mail, deadlines and bills on top, promotions filed away. Draft replies wait for your OK.

Something else eating your day?

Website questions, reminders and no-shows, order status, staff schedules… Email us about it.

Start small. Add more when it pays off.

Starter

One bot on one channel. A quick win like missed-call text-back, website FAQ chat, or review replies. Setup, testing, launch, owner alerts and a monthly summary.

Growth

2–3 bots working together (for example text-back + booking + reminders) on two channels, connected to your booking system or customer list. Monthly report and review call.

Full

A complete workflow (inquiry → quote → booking → reminders), including an AI phone assistant if it fits.

Every plan includes monthly care: hosting, monitoring, fixing wrong answers, updating hours, prices and staff, and a plain-English monthly report.

What does it cost? Every business is different, so we’ll talk pricing on a short call. You’ll get a written price before anything is built. Email to book a call →

How it works

1

Free discovery call

20 minutes on where customers get stuck and what eats your time. No prep needed.
2

Plan & price

A one-page plan: which bot first, what it will and won’t do, the cost, and how we’ll measure if it’s worth it, using your numbers.
3

Build & test

Set up on the tools you already use and tested on the everyday and the awkward questions. You try it before any customer does.
4

Launch & care

We go live, watch it closely the first weeks and send a monthly report. If something’s off, we fix it or switch it off.

Why Bots of Blue

  • Local. Based in Goshen, serving Litchfield County and the Northwest Corner. Happy to meet in person.
  • Plain English, no hype. We’ll tell you if a bot isn’t worth it for your business.
  • You stay in charge. Bots work from your approved info. Anything risky, like custom prices, refunds or complaints, comes to you.
  • Built to be safe. Every bot gets a written “does / never does” sheet, a tested hand-off to a human, and an off switch.
  • One person accountable. You deal with Tony directly, not a call center.

Questions owners ask

What does it cost?
Every business is different, so we’ll talk pricing on a short call. There’s usually a one-time setup and a monthly care fee, and you’ll have a written price before anything is built.
Do I need tech skills?
No. If you can send a text, you’re fine. We do the setup, and you get a one-page guide in plain English. To change your hours or prices, just tell us.
What about my data and my customers’ privacy?
The bot only sees what it needs for its job. It tells customers they’re talking to an automated assistant and never takes card numbers. Medical and other regulated businesses get a separate review before we build anything.
Will it say something wrong to a customer?
It answers only from information you’ve approved. When it doesn’t know, it says so and passes the question to you. Prices on custom jobs need your approval.
What if it breaks?
We monitor it. If it gives a wrong answer or a connection fails, we fix it, and if needed we switch it off and fall back to your normal phone or inbox while we sort it out.
Will it replace my staff?
No. It handles the repetitive stuff so your people can focus on the customers in front of them.
